Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable Gift.
What is this unspeakable Gift that is being spoken of? Well, it is Jesus Christ’s love for mankind. You can’t even begin to understand how great this gift is. A gift for which payment must be made is not a gift. It is a purchase, an acquisition, needing to be paid for, needing to be bought with a price. A gift is something that is given freely, given without any strings attached, otherwise it cannot be called a gift. Christ Jesus was God’s free gift of grace to every member of the human race. A gift that is not accepted is still a gift. Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was God’s free, indescribable, inestimable gift of grace that was given freely to every man and woman without any strings attached. Some accept this unspeakably precious gift and others reject it, but the gift of God to humanity, which is too wonderful for words, was nonetheless given to ALL. Simply accepting this unspeakably precious gift from God (which we do by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ), causes a whole host of other amazing things to be showered without limit upon the blessed recipient. Every other good thing that pertains to spiritual life; eternal life, eternal love, eternal hope, eternal joy, eternal peace, eternal prosperity, and eternal grace, is also given. The moment God’s gift of grace is accepted, He opens the floodgates of the riches of His grace over the blessed beneficiary. Simply rejecting this unspeakably precious gift from God (which happens when people refusing to accept and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ), results in everlasting condemnation and spiritual death, which means eternal separation from God which Revelation tells us happens in the Lake of Fire. While-ever there is life, the unspeakably precious gift from God is still available to whosoever will accept God’s indescribable gift. Because of the Gift of Jesus, God’s only son, our Savior and Redeemer; our souls were converted from darkness to light, from sin to holiness, from Satan to God. To have the grace of God in your heart and to subdue all things and fill your soul with the divine nature…this is an unspeakable blessing…and the energy that it produces is our unspeakable gift. Even though we can’t truly comprehend what the true value of our salvation is, we can know the joy and peace that comes with having God’s promise of forgiveness and eternal life. Of overcoming death and being delivered from this cruel and sinful world. Thanks be to God for His indescribable and unspeakably precious gift!
