Isaiah 44:22

I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.

The blood of Jesus redeems us from sin and the power of darkness. A lot of people have been redeemed and justified by the blood of Jesus, but they still needlessly live in fear and condemnation. The blood shed by Jesus cleanses us from evil so that our conscience no longer condemns us. Our consciences do an evil work when they do not wake us or stir us to the obedience of the gospel. It also does evil when it unnecessarily condemns us, accuses us, and constantly reminds us of how we failed God; which in turn, causes depression and fear. As believers in Christ, we are to be warriors who call on the power and authority of Christ’s blood when we are under an enemy’s attack. Some may call their family, a best friend, or a counselor, while some wallow in fear and condemnation. However, the Lord wants us to immediately stand on the Word of God and plead the blood of Jesus. Truly, we can be more than conquerors through Him. As believers in Christ, we need to be willing to walk in the light and allow the Holy Spirit to expose all the darkness in us. Our heavenly Father wants us to proclaim the victory of Jesus’ blood in our lives and begin praising Him now for the promise of that great day of redemption ahead.
