Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Let’s get one thing straight, humans do not possess the capability to give anything perfect. We are corrupted by sin, therefore we lack the ability to do so. Perfect is not something that this world can produce, only God possesses the ability to give perfect gifts. That’s why every perfect gift comes “from above.” When people give gifts, mixed emotions and motives are involved; sometimes good, sometimes bad. However, when God bestows the gift, His motives are perfect. Yet, I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. When God sometimes gives a perfect gift, it may not be something we want or something that makes us feel good; however, it is something we need. It is impossible for a perfect gift to come from anyone other than God.
