John 1:14

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John saw the glory of God firsthand. He lived with him, walked with Him, talked with Him, laid hands on Him. John spent more than 3 years with Him, listening and learning from Him. The Son of God was full of God’s grace and holiness. It qualified Him to be our perfect Savior. Our sacrifice for sin. The truth from our Father in Heaven came through Jesus; for He was perfect. Salvation came through Jesus, who was sent by God. “For by grace, are You saved.” We should be thankful that Got sent his only begotten Son. He alone is full of grace and truth. Jesus was the only person qualified to become “our perfect.” He was chosen to deliver us from evil and to die on the Cross as a heavenly substitute for sin. Be thankful for such a sacrifice. Praise His holy name.
