For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
We should not be ashamed to take the good news of a lowly carpenter, Who died for the sin of the world and rose again on the third day. We should not hesitate to proclaim the gospel of Christ to a skeptical world of fallen men. None of us, neither “Jew nor Greek” have the ability or capability to save ourselves. God alone has the capacity to save fallen men. God alone has the power to redeem a race of sinners. And the only vehicle through Whom God offers salvation to us, is by believing the gospel of Christ. For there is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved. It is through believing the gospel of Christ, which is the death, burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ alone, that we are saved. In Him alone is there salvation to everyone who believes…”the Jew and also to the Greek.” Today, the gospel is to be preached to everyone, for we all have sinned. We all fall short of the glory of God, and we all need the gospel of Christ “which is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes on the Lord Jesus Christ.” Let us pray that we will boldly proclaim the gospel of Christ to all with whom we come in contact. Only in Him is there life and light, hope and love. Let us know that the gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation, to all who believe on Him, Who died and rose from the dead. To Him be all the praise and glory, a world without end.
